30W 9-36V or 18-75V Input
CPR30 series 2″ x 1″ Railway Series
Londonderry, NH – June 6, 2024 – Semiconductor Circuits, Inc. introduces the Cool Power Technologies 30W 2″ x 1″ DC-DC isolated converter for railway applications. These metal cased potted modules provide 30W of output power yet meet EN 50155/60068 “TX” temperature range – providing full power over the -40C – 70C ambient temperature range. The modules have an industry standard pinout/footprint and interface standards such as enable and trim features. The converters have a wide input voltage range of 9 to 36 VDC or 18 to 75 VDC & provide 3000 VDC input to output isolation as required by railway application specifications.
The Cool Power CPR30 series offers output voltages of 3.3V, 5V, 12V, 15V, 24V and 48V. Additional output voltages are possible – contact us with your needs. We also welcome quick-turn modifications and custom configurations to meet our customer’s particular requirements.
The CPR30 series meets 50155/60068 temperature requirements, EN45545-2 fire prevention guidelines and Railway EMC requirements of EMC EN50121 -3 -2. The modules meet RoHS III Directive 2015/863/EU and are REACH 1907/2006 – 233 SVHC update compliant. The module complies with all of the standard industry requirements including no minimum load, no minimum capacitive load and 2X nominal input voltage transients.
Other features include: fixed-frequency operation, auto-restart OVP, OCP & OTP protections, UVLO and +/-10% output voltage trim. Remote ON/OFF is standard with positive or negative logic options available.
The modules feature a standard 2 x 1 pinout with dimensions of 2.0” L x 1.0” W (50.8mm x 25.4mm.) It has a height of 0.41″ (10.4mm) which accommodates tight card spacing with minimal airflow blockage of downstream components.
